If you have a busy schedule or limited availability, Advocating is a great way to be involved with IRIS. By planning fundraisers and organizing events, you can aid in the research, education, and problem solving that comes with aiding refugees . Think of the impact that can come with educating your friends and neighbors on issues facing immigration.
It is important to not only reach out to those in our community, but local and state officials as well. They need to hear from you! Express your care and concern for your neighbors by calling and writing to them today. We are a country by the people and for the people. Your voice is crucial to continuing this support.
