Life in El Salvador wasn’t easy, it was full of insecurities, in tranquility, and violence. There were few opportunities to thrive in my neighborhood. Before the birth of my youngest son I decided I needed to come to the United States to begin a new life and better beginning for my family. I was desperate to find a way to bring my children with me, but I didn’t want them to suffer the way I did to get here. With the help of god, I stumbled upon IRIS phone number. I never realized that this program would help me so much. I called made an appointment and began the process to get my children to the US. My sons Jose Leonel who is 17 years old and Josue Daniel who is 11 are so grateful to be here, as am I because my life feels complete now. They were brought to the US during December and that was the best Christmas gift I could have ever asked for. Raffi was with me at the airport when I awaited the arrival of my sons. I am truly blessed to have found this program and I thank you all so much for making my dream come true. As a father I only want what is best for my children, here they have so many opportunities. My eldest is working part time and studying English and my youngest is in middle school. I am blessed to see my sons grow.
